The Finnish mobile phone producer Nokia has bought Siemens´ share of the joint company Nokia Siemens Networks.
Nokia Siemens Network, there is a joint-venture company between Nokia and Siemens, is now a purely Finnish company.
Nokia has bought Siemens´ share of the company at 50 percent for 12.7 billion kroner, writes, according to Ritzau’s Bureau our site.
The decision to take over the share owned by Siemens is taken, but the deal is expected first finally completed during the third quarter.
Nokia Siemens Networks, which officially was presented in April 2007, make mobile broadband equipment and operates in more than 150 countries. The company has about 58,000 employees and its head office is located in Espoo in Finland.
